Was referred to the basement doctor by a friend and was disappointed. We called and set up an appointment which was over a week out and they still didn’t show up. They confirmed via phone call and text. The gentleman called me the day before letting me know that corpate has him spread thin that day and might not make it, but if he was going to make it, he would be late. He wanted to reschedule for that Thursday when he would be closer to my house. I explained that wouldn’t work and He said he would call again the day of the appointment to touch base on how his day was going. The day of the appointment he called three times and still never showed up. He asked for me to send him photos of the basement which I did and he said he would stop out Thursday to look at the exterior and give me a call. He also said they were almost 6 weeks out on any repairs anyways so he wouldn’t be able to get a resolution if we had a problem. Thursday came and went and I never heard from him if he stopped out to look at our foundation. It is very disappointing to not hear anything from them.

I had the SAME exact experience as Susan below. My husband told the “sales rep” that he cannot make it last minute due to a schedule change. My husband then said, please speak and leave any information with my wife. The guy then refused. He took this phone call in my basement. The basement doctor rep plus a shadow employee in training came back upstairs approached me VERY rudely and confrontational and said that he will be leaving. He slammed my front door so hard it came back open and my dog ran out. I hope that is not how you train your employees. Also I find it comical because I would have signed a contract that day without the sales pitch. Please select a different company!! We did!!!

Why is it that this company believes that a woman is not capable of listening to a presentation by them and accurately relaying the information to her husband? I explained during the initial call, that it would be difficult for my husband and I to be here at the same time, but they insisted that in order to have the meeting, both of us needed to be here. My husband ran into problems with our scheduled meeting today, and instead of coming anyway, they expected me to reschedule because I am obviously not capable of attending a meeting without my husband. What an awful way to do business!

Thanks to the Basement doctor for standing behind their warranty, I would have to say this company still knows what a handshake means. Scott and Gary were about the best two guys i have ever dealt with. My salesman Wes was also outstanding. I would recommend this company to anyone looking to repair their basement. 10 stars from me.
