We are a quaint fitness studio nestled in beautiful Palm Springs, California. Offering certified personal & group fitness instruction to all ages.

Story

Basic Fitness Studio has had a 14 year relationship with local residents and tourists visiting Palm Springs California. Under new ownership in November 2013, Vernon & Katie Dupree have brought fresh new ideas and fitness techniques ready to challenge all who attend. Certified by the American Council on Exercise (ACE), TRX®, Spinning® combined with a selection of cardio and weight equipment they are sure to help you reach your fitness goals. Weather your visit in Palm Springs is one day or the entire year we have you covered... in sweat!

One of the best gym experiences I've had, and highly recommended if you're looking for a friendly, clean and well-organized gym space. The owners, Vernon and Katie, go out of their way to make you feel like family. I've had a lot of personal training over the years, but have to say that Vernon was most knowledgeable, and so willing to share his knowledge in a detailed way, plus he made it fun... laughter is good exercise too, right? Great place! And nothing 'basic' about the Basic Gym. I recommend!

This was my second year at the Basic Gym while vacationing in Palm Springs and the owners, Vernon and Katie, have done a great job at making this the perfect gym to workout at! The gym has everything you need to get a good workout in and it's very clean and organized. I noticed a diverse group of people using the gym and Vern and Katie have a way of making everyone feel welcome and not intimidated. Plus - they are always willing to help you out. I will definitely be going back :)
