My husband and I went here for dinner tonight for the first time and the minute you walk in it just smells amazing. Everything we ate, from the appetizer sampler to our main courses, the both of us thought the food was excellent. They did everything possible to watch out for my shrimp and coconut allergies and made it a very nice dining experience. We will definitely be coming back.

I went to The Basil Restaurant for lunch. I got the panang curry with tofu and vegetables. I really enjoyed the meal! The variety of vegetables was yummy and the portion size was very satifying. The Thai iced tea was delicious too. The waiter told me it was freshly made and I could tell. Some Thai iced teas are so smoky they taste like a wet ash tray. This iced tea was perfectly creamy and sweet! I would highly recommend!

I went here after hearing great reviews. I love Thai food and was excited. The service was great, but the food lacked the taste I was hoping for. I'd rather drive to gardnerville or Reno for great Thai food.

Food is good but often doesn't arive for all guests at the same time. The last two times I've gone the check took a very long time to come to the table. Basicly have plenty of time and patience if your going, it is tasty mind you.

Appetizers menu is limited . Tried two it was good . Main course had spicy fried rice . It was not that good . It was just plain, Veggies and fried rice not blended properly . Overall it was okay.
