Story

Established in 2013
Originally built in the shape if a T-bone steak in the late 40's, it was the home of Tyler's steak house, the floor, ceiling and kitchen hood are all still original! The owners of The Bier Garden wanted to keep the integrity of this beautiful and historic building while creating a place for all to come eat, drink, relax and unwind. We took it back to the root of Bier .. all 32 tap handles from Southern California, a retro cocktail menu, California coastal, local, and bier infused cuisine. The best Bloody Mary's served with bier chasers (yup, a bier of your choice on the side!) We are about conversation and quality time! Come enjoy yourself for lunch, dinner, and weekend brunch! Welcome to The Bier Garden!

I liked the variety of food and beer choices. Service was slow so don’t come when you’re already starving but well worth the wait for food. I always live when I can get sweet potato fries instead of regular fries. The calamari was just the right amount of sweet and spicy.

Sad that they are a "no pets" restaurant but an irresponsible dog owner wrecked it for everyone else. However, service was great, recommendations on food & bier was perfect. Tasting biers first was great because peanut butter in bier is not on my list for easy drinking! It was a surprisingly good stout! Can't wait to go back!

So I ordered the chicken schnitzel and it was unbelievable. Amazing dish altogether. 

Loved the setting and location and good choice of beers. Staff are helpful as well. Great spot!

Great food and beer. We stopped on a Saturday afternoon and had a quick beer and lunch and it was  really good. We will be back again... Breakfast for lunch was pretty great

We stopped in here for a late dinner on one of our nightly family walks (an 8 month old and 3 year old in tow) and we were a little skeptical it being a bar atmosphere but took a chance as the front hostess was very friendly. We were seated immediately even though the place was busy and a waitress took our order shortly after that. While we waited for our meal, the front hostess scoured her box of crayons for different colors for our little toddler artist and made sure she was taken care of. Our food came out quick and was HOT!! Which is such a thing to me, hate warm food so right away I was happy! We ordered a salad, a sandwich and a burger for our daughter and everything tasted fresh, just made, and crisp! The portions were also generous and reasonably priced. Our waitress (sorry forgot her name) was awesome and took great care of us and was sweet. The noise level of the place actually worked out perfect and the lights and tvs entertained our daughters the entire meal :) Although we don't make a late dinner at a bar a regular thing with little ones, this was actually a super, pleasant experience and we will be back! thank you for the super kind staff and delicious food!
