Coming from work and tired, I happened upon the edifice (not dissimilar in appearance to a coffin) and dared to abandon hope as all who had entered there. Suddenly (the plot thickens at last!) a 20-something euro import rushes in and tells me backpacks are not allowed at all in the establishment. He then wordlessly takes to trying to PHYSICALLY REMOVE me from the premises (I just got out of jail, trust me he was weak). Then (climax!) I *pushed back* and he realized the error of his ways..... I digress.... I ask him who his boss is.... Dale... And his own name.....? He refuses to provide it. I told him my full name and ask why he is afraid to give me his name.... No reply.... Bottom line: the saloon should post the "no backpacks rule" instead of continuing to have people fall victim to their planned ignorance of such a rule. So rude... So I went a MUCH better bar just south called the 1st Street Bar. Waaaaay cooler..... Also, the Saloon was a MORGUE!

I'm from Utah, first time visiting. At first this place was great, got in quick, service was great, great drinks, little expensive. Atmosphere was awesome , music was great, met some awesome people. After a couple hours I wanted a cigarette. I stepped outside, by the time I was done there was a line to get back in. The door guys refused to let me back in disregarding the fact that my credit and drink was still in the bar. Legitimately refused to let me go in. *my credit card was in the bar with an open tab*. I was extremely frustrated but was calm and went to wait in line. I waited for about ten fifteen minutes and the bar was almost closed. I ended up paying 20$ to someone in the line to get to the front just to get my credit card so it wouldn't remain there overnight. I would recommend going here on maybe a night where the d*** at the door isn't working.

Manager of  2016 World Series Champion  moonlighting here as weekend bartender? Looks like Joe Madden but it's not. Friendly Bartender low key afternoon watering hole. Was looking for just couple beers although more spirits are offered... Go Ducks
