I’m 100% satisfied with The Bike Rack. 
I just bought a new road race bike and I couldn’t have better advices and bike setup. 
In my process of choosing the good bike I went in multiple bike stores in the DC area and Matt from The Bike Rack Brookland was always here to advice and take the time to answer my different questions. 
I find the perfect shop for my needs and recommend it to anyone who need advices, repair or a bike.

On the MBT today and got a flat, fixed it and saw I had a huge gash in the sidewall of my tire. Rolled my way to the shop and they squeezed me in.  They replaced the tire, noticed some other minor issues with my chain and derailleur and they fixed those as well.  Friendly, responsive, and knowledgeable staff.  Great experience.  Will have to go back for espresso as well next time.

After my trusty homemade battery powered bike light lit my path for its last time, I decided to finally upgrade to a dynamo hub and LED light set. I moved to Brookland recently and recalled a bike shop ingeniously combined with my favorite nearby coffee shop, Filter Coffee.

These folks are pros. The mechanics were knowledgeable, did impeccable work quickly and charged a good price to boot. From a cursory glance their retail selection is good as well, as they seem to simply not carry junk, thus saving you the time of finding out when it breaks on your commute. Highly recommended!
