Best made-from-scratch food with an amazing view in Winona. Nightly dinner specials. Come a little early/later to avoid the inevitable 7pm crush on weekends. The tiny kitchen does its best to keep up. Good beer on tap, full bar, best fries in town. "Best cheese curds I've ever had..." (but they're a special only--not on regular menu).

Hot, made from scratch food, served in a timely manner. I love going here for a weekend brunch to catch the view of the river. Boat House has a great beer and cocktail selection and their menu is reasonably priced...highly recommend!

The menu changes based on what is fresh and available.  It's pretty inconsistent as a result.  There are only a few things on the menu and when they run out, they're out.  It's a nice spot kind of hidden away on the Winona levee where you can sit with the picturesque Mississippi River in the background.  The majority of their ingredients is fresh and locally grown/caught/farmed if you're about food ethics.  It's a cool concept but it seems like they're still figuring it out.  The hours are a bit odd too, so make sure it's open before you drive out there!

The fish/shrimp tacos are easily my favorite restaurant meal in Winona. Such a beautiful place to eat!

Friendly staff, fast service, good food. Not many vegetarian options, but it's a boathouse. They serve fish. Their portobello burger is delicious.
