The environment is great. I would not recommend taking young kids. But service was great and so was the food. I would try them out.

Great food. Cool and unique atmosphere. It's in the basement of the building so worth the treasure hunt for it. Recommend scotch eggs and weekend brunch. Also beat happy hour in downtown Fargo

Visiting Fargo for work and was in search of a local place serving Walleye. Very happy I chose to visit The Boiler Room. The Walleye and braised beef shortrib was delicious and they had a great selection of local beer on tap. My only disappointment is that I won’t be in Fargo long enough to go back a second time.

Best time to go is Sundays between 22:00 and 00:00. The place is basically dead, and you'll only need to share the bartender between two or three other parties, if at all. Appetizers and drinks are half price and you can get a feast for two under $25, including a fair tip. The back alley entrance is gross and there are always drunks bums asking for money or cigarettes; use the front entrance and avoid that. The Spinach & Bacon dip is fantastic; get that.

Am becoming a frequent patron. I really like their 1/2 price drinks and apps from 4-6 and haven't found anything on their menu that I don't like. Had Scottish Eggs and Fish Tacos tonight - both delicious!
