This restaurant is a throwback Western style classic steak house, off the set of The Big Valley TV show. Unfortunately I did not like the signature item, coffee rubbed ribeye, not enough flavor on tough, gristly, fatty steak. Sides and service were great. Really nice ambience, it's a special night to go to the Branding Iron

The Branding Iron is AMAZING!!!  The staff always takes great care of their customers, and you can always be sure to have a delicious meal!  If you are in the mood for the best burger in town try the Big Gun!  So Good!  Also, the Prime Rib sandwich is also another go to!  And don't forget the Gazpacho!!!  We LOVE the Branding Iron!

It may have been better if the ambience was nicer. There was a group of men at the bar talking bad about people in the community on the lunch hour. They made sure to speak as loud and opinionated as possible. They seemed to think they owned the restaurant and other paying customers were beneath them. I have no desire to go back.  Just nasty old Morons.

Okay. So the first time I tried to go it was a Saturday night and the older gentleman at the counter looked offended that I didn't make a reservation. So we just left. When we went again it was in the afternoon on a weekday. The women were very nice. But the food was bland. The steak had no flavor. I was disappointed that I paid $50 for two extremes bland steaks.

Not very good experience there was a  Lb of rosemary on my prime rib. The quality of beef was poor.
The baked potato was black 1/2 the potato was black how they put it on the plate I have no idea
Make sure to use you phone to shine a light on your plate before you start to eat.
