We popped in this breakfast spot for the first time. Initially, we thought it was closed. But inside was full of people dining. Our food was really good and a short wait. The grits were tasty and hot. The shrimp and spinach omelet tasty. I will say they need to up their coffee game. Poor taste and weak coffee. We will definitely return.Food: 5/5
Good service, busy but makes sure you're taken care of, plenty of food choices- more than waffle house. Breakfast and semi lunch menu. Prices are decent. Our party of 5 enjoyed our meals.Food: 5/5
My wife and I stopped here in our way out of town and it was amazing. I'm a huge breakfast person and loved everything about this place. The atmosphere was great and the staff was nice and it reminds of the breakfast places I went too growing up as a kid. The food was everything that I want breakfast to be. I got the Triple crown omelet with grits and honestly these were some of the best grits I've had at a restaurant. My wife got a waffle and it was great as well. We will definitely check this place out on our next trip back to tow.
I came in on my day off and ordered the catfish with hash browns and eggs cooked over hard with coffee. What I got was brown tinted water, almost raw fish and almost half cooked scrambled eggs. The waitress was grumpy and wouldn't speak more than one syllable at a time. DO NOT COME HERE!!!! Cost me almost $20 to risk food poisoning
This was by far the worst place I have ever eaten. I have eaten here twice, and had a bad experience both times. The food was cold, like it had been sitting there for hours. The service was very poor, the prices are ridiculously high. Also, they are very hard to understand. I was even was yelled at for not being able to understand what the server/manager was saying. Please do not waste your time or money here.
Had breakfast twice there while visiting the area. Service was excellent both times. Good homestyle breakfast. The only negative was the French toast, wasn't to our liking.Food: 5/5
This place was okay. The food was alright, nothing stood out about. Maybe I'll try something different if I eat here again. I enjoyed the company I was with and the atmosphere was decent.Food: 3/5
When in Savannah or Tybee we go to the breakfast club on the island, this time we stopped at the breakfast place, and biy does the club just pale in comparison to food quality and the staff is just so warm and welcoming. We came back for seconds. The locals come here and can i just say ive never ordered double hashbrowns ever. The grits are stone ground and just take you back with one small bite. Definitely the only breakfast place we plan on ever doing every time we come to Savannah or Tybee.
The Breakfast Place is like a worse Waffle House. It smelled good when we first walked in, but the area our table was in smelled gross. Here’s what we got: - Coffee $1.95: Good. - 2 Eggs with Meat bacon, sub hashbrowns $5.75 + 95¢: Bacon and eggs were fine. Hashbrowns were from a package. - One Buttermilk Pancake $1.75: Fine. A little battery in the middle. - Egg and Cheese Biscuit $3: The bottom half of the biscuit was very hard and almost impossible to bite into. Egg and cheese were fine. Service was good and quick! We were in and out in less than 25 minutes. In Covid times, staff were wearing masks, albeit one employee had hers below her nose. They don’t require masks. There were syrup bottles on the table, which is gross even before coronavirus, but especially gross now. It was cheap, but the food was less than average. We wouldn’t go back.
Very crowded. Plain on the food side. Good for a in and out. The waiter forgot my drink , and I kept having to repeat my order.Food: 3/5
