I really feel the difference eating an unprocessed meal. Though I can't do it often...it's such a treat when I'm able. There's pleasure in supporting small & local businesses. Everything from their homemade ice cream to their local fresh cut beef is served with a smile.Dine in: Yes
This place was amazing. The service was extraordinary. The server was named Tori and she was so nice. Very lively and helped us out and made us a mock tail which was also extraordinary. The food was cooked and seasoned just right. The service was good too! I will definitely be coming back and recommend you to come here too.
My dad and I came across The Butcher Station in Winchester, VA on a trip to Norfolk. A trip we had made many times before but not in a while. We decided to stop in Winchester to grab a fine meal and a few quick hours of sleep before finishing our journey on to Norfolk. A quick Google search of restaurant's near me and we were presented with The Butcher Station. It was not far from the hotel we were at and the rating and reviews were right on par for what we were aiming for. I'll start by saying the beer was really good and the sides were not bad but my fries didn't arrive hot and being outside in early October they got cold real quick, even as nice as it was that evening. We both ordered the Audley Farm Dry Aged Steaks and Bone-out Ribeye was the cut of the evening, one of my favorites. Well, it usually is. I'm sorry to say the steak was tougher and chewier than anything I'd bought out side of a buffet. The seasoning tasted like was a good blend of salt and pepper, nothing fancy, but I literally had to saw through my steak. Even when we mentioned our disappointment to the waitress she offered the excuse that the Bone IN was much more tender but nothing in the way of compensating for the poor meal. The beer and environment seems really nice at The Butcher Station but the food, at least the steak, is not worth the wait and definitely not the price, in my opinion. Parking: It is in a strip mall setting so there is lots of parking available.
Amazing place, locally sourced food. Everything is very much made to order. The limited menu is definitely a strength as it let's them focus on quality. Parking: Ample parking
All around excellent. Phenomenal oysters!! Try the crabmeat sandwich with the cider raspberry rose to accompany it. You will not regret it if you love crab. Modern fishing cabin feel, friendly staff, and very clean. We will deffinatly eat here again.
My new favorite steakhouse! I intentionally sought out a local restaurant while I am staying in this area for a few months; I'm so very glad I found this one!! The Butcher Station will not disappoint. Aged to perfection Ribeye, sublime oyster appetizer, even the side dishes were nothing less than amazing I actually finished the kale well BEFORE the steak...I will be returning for sure!! Our server was flawlessly attentive, very helpful, and next-door-neighbor friendly!! An ideal Friday night dinner out if you are looking for cozy, quiet, and delectable! Dietary restrictions: I do have some dietary restrictions and the server worked very closely with me to ensure I selected items that were safe for me to eat.
Just had our Valentines dinner tonight, 4 delicious courses of wonderful. First time here and definitely will be returning . They were very busy, yet still kept everyone very happy.Food: 5/5
Service was excellent. Our waiter was waiting tables inside and ours outside, and for as many tables that he had, food was hot, accurate and drinks were never empty. Also he kept an awesome attitude the whole time never having an issue with us asking for anything. Top notch service. Also steaks were cooked to perfection which is why we chose to dine there. Out door heaters were not acting right but the overall experience was great.
Service was awesome! Background music was at a perfect level! And the BEST roast beef sandwich grilled I have ever had! The beef was tender and delicious, the bread was perfectly grilled, there was just enough but not overwhelming horsey sauce, and the slivers of roasted red pepper were the perfect touch.
Awesome meal! Sat outside on a beautiful evening, great service and food. Beet salad was delicious as were the Baja fish tacos. Cocktails were unique and tasty! Highly recommend this place.
