Phenomenal Cake!!!  I bought a cake for my fiance's graduation and it was more than perfect.  The decorations I asked for were spot on and the chocolate cake was moist out of this world tasty.  We had family travel from California and Miami for the graduation and all agreed that they have never tasted a cake as good as this one.  As a matter of fact its a running joke between us because they have asked if we can ship a cake for their birthdays.  Thank you so much for the added memories for her graduation.

I ordered a cake for my daughter's confirmation party this past weekend. $50 is a lot to spend on a cake, but good cakes can be expensive. It was very pretty and my daughter was thrilled by how it looked. I can't tell you how dissapointed we were by the taste. There was something terribly wrong with it. My guests spent 10 minutes trying to pinpoint just what was wrong with it. Was it bad ingredients? Sour milk? Too much baking soda? Who knows? But one thing is for sure, you want to brush your teeth after eating it because the after taste is so bad. I brought the cake up to the shop today to let the owner try it. She took a bite and said she didn't taste anything wrong with it. All I could do is stare in shock. And write this review. Stay away from The Cake Shop of San Jose!

The Jacksonville Giants always get cupcakes from The Cake Shoppe for our game days and they are always a hit. The cake is not too sweet and the perfect consistency and the frosting it to die for. Not only do they taste great but they always look great as well. The colors and decor are just the perfect touch. The Giants can not wait to continue the tradition of game day cupcakes next season!

There are some very attractive women in here making some wonderful Custom Cakes. I had a super last-minute request and they were able to accommodate me in a very timely manner, just a few hours to squeeze me in and make a great cake. A++ will definitely be back in the future

There is a reason why this place has been around for so long. Cakes were absolutely delicious and EXACTLY what we wanted!!! Highly recommend!
