Food was perfectly cooked. The appetizer of wild boar and bison sausage was a perfect melding of flavors. Our filets were perfectly cooked and our vegetables weren't mush. Finally, we sat at the bar and shared company with Steve, a truly friendly bartender. He helped guide us through the menu and the history of The Cellar. We will be back and will bring family.

Nice venue. Went during the day to the outdoor area and there was a live band. Waitress was friendly, food was great and surprisingly inexpensive. Husband and I aren't drinkers though so it's not like we had craft beers or similarly priced drinks on our bill, so I don't know how much more that would cost you. Ladies' restroom is clean and tastefully decorated, but as a warning one of the stalls has a latch that didn't work properly, so just use the other one.

This was my third, and unfortunately, maybe the last visit. The food is usually very good, but something always happens to throw a wrench into the experience. Last night we ate in the "Garage" portion of the restaurant. We ordered 6 burgers and we were each asked how we would like them done. All three wives got burgers that were extremely underdone and had to be sent back. My wife had cut hers into a couple times before deciding it was so pink she couldn't even try to eat it. So, we sent them back. When they returned after what seemed like 20 minutes they were cooked correctly, but the 1/3 that my wife had cut into had been thrown away. Odd decision by a cook. It made us wonder if the meat is frozen, because I can cook a burger from scratch, well done, in under 15 minutes at home. At any rate the manager was very nice when we explained what had happened. She offered us three of the chocolate lava cakes, which we accepted. We joked with her that on a birthday dinner we had there once the cake came out cold, with solid lava and we hoped not to have a repeat. Well, the cake comes out. Two of them are HOT just the way you'd want, but mine for some reason was room temperature, cake, plate and all. The manager offered to heat it up and I just asked if they could package it cold to-go. For some reason when the waitress brought it back she said it was hot and I just said fine I'll take it that way, but she got me a cold one anyway as she didn't think it would taste good re-heated. To recap. Food is good when it is finished correctly. Service is good. People are friendly and polite. Manager is helpful to solve problems. We just feel like we know there are going to be problems, even if minor, that will lower the experience when compared to other places we could go. Last night was just a little too much.

My wife and I enjoyed the dining experience. I thought it was interesting that the restaurant was a converted car garage. The waitress was very nice and made some very good wine recommendations. The food was great! My wife had the mixed kabobs and I had the aged filet. It had a really nice atmosphere.

Fantastic service and ambience, I actually liked the converted garage space better than the main dining room, although both are special. Loved the food, but the menu is very limited and somewhat pricey. For me, I do not eat red meat, and I only had 2-3 options other than a salad or appetizers. I had the shrimp and grits minus the sausage, and it was delicious.
