Greetings! Welcome to The Charred Oak Tavern's Facebook page. Located in historical downtown Middleboro, The Charred Oak Tavern is a proud new addition to the eateries among our community. We are looking forward to our Spring of 2017 opening! We will welcome families to dine with us by offering uniquely-inspired cuisines; such as, our signature beef dishes, our locally-caught fresh seafood, and some delicious New England favorites! Accompanying our appetizing food menu, we will be serving an array of refreshing beers, both local and abroad, as well as a variety of non-traditional wines and spirits. Chief among these spirits that we'll be proudly highlighting will be our distinctly selected assortment of Whiskeys, Scotches and Bourbons. Our very name was an inspiration of the process in which some of these artful spirits are born. The tradition of charring oak barrels to age and infuse the flavors, colors and aromas in some of the spirits are subject for much appreciation. Our decor throughout The Charred Oak Tavern will respectively reflect this theme along with reclaimed wood, centuries old timbers, and impressive high-end displays.
