The cheese shop is a really neat little place. If you're into making food from scratch instead of processed junk, it's a good place to start. They offer a ton of bulk goods from flours and sugars to candies, seasonings, soup mixes, and more. I believe it's a little Mennonite run place (?) And the people who work there are very sweet. They have a little bit of everything, including organic ingredients, gluten free items, and simply odd things you won't find on typical grocery store shelves. It's not the place to go buy a microwave dinner, but it's definitely the place to buy real ingredients to make it yourself.

Amazing! Huge selection of specialty goods. Premade batter mixes for cakes, muffins, cookies, etc. Dried fruits with many different flavorings. Bulk supplies of anything you would want. Homemade candies, cheese and dairy products, sodas, and local honey with a large variety of flavors from different flowers. Highly recommend getting some crackers and trying out their cheeses. Especially the spicier or smoked ones. It is a little pricier than some local markets but very worth it for the quality you get.

We love this little Mennonite owned and operated shop nestled in the Shenandoah Valley's town of Fishersvulle. Full of whole foods, grains, and spices, you can find things that you can't find at your average grocery. The folks who run the store are delightful and helpful. Prices are great.

Well-known in the local area, the Cheese Shop is a specialty store rather than a general purpose grocery store. In addition to cheese, they have a good assortment of cooking and baking staples and supplies such as spices, flour, candies used in cooking and crafts, jam/jellies, and some specialty baked goods. My wife makes it a point to come every 6 weeks or so, and we know out-of-towners who make a point to stop in if they are near the area. Definitely a unique store in their niche.

LOVE this place. Great prices. Helpful staff. But, it is 3 hours from home. We try to stop whenever we are passing by. Or, we have made special trips just to shop here!!
