We first looked into converting our log burning fireplace 2 years ago and we went to the South Hills store.  Honestly, we were not really impressed with how the salesperson handled our questions. It was almost like we were a bother to him.
This winter we re-looked into it and stopped in to the North Hills store and spoke with John, the manager...he was awesome.  He spent about an hour with us and really went through all the pros/cons of the logs. We bought the logs and went on the waiting list for the store to install.  Although we waited about a month for the installation, it was well worth it.  Our installation was a little tricky and Gary and Jordan knew just how to work around the situation.
If anyone had some negative experience in the past i would re-visit the store because their employees are now very customer oriented.

I went here on an initial research trip looking at fireplace inserts. They were extremely helpful and knowledgeable, with lots of options in store and lots of available literature. The project is on hold for now sure to other reasons so I can't really comment on how their prices compare.

Amazing selection of patio furniture, more than I've ever seen in any store before. We were shopping for fireplace accessories, and not a bad selection either. If you are in the market for a gas fireplace insert this is definitely the place to shop. Not so much for wood stoves or wood burning inserts though.

Frank provided much input, charisma and professionalism while I researched patio and fireplace options for my family.  

His genuine demeanor and knowledge of the product is a welcoming change in today's selling standards.

If I could rate them a Zero star I would... Terrible customer service , rude customer service over the phone , the guy hung up on me twice and kept me on hold for 20 mins at that point I hung up... go somewhere else this was the store on banksville rd.  Terrible experience little did they know I was going to have them service 20 of my rental properties good work idiots...
