What a quaint place to spend the night. To cold to sit out and enjoy the beautiful backyard and huge porch, perhaps another visit will be necessary.😋

We have stayed at the Grapevine House just about every time we go to Ohio's Amish Country. It's a cozy 1800s house that was renovated into a Bed'n'breakfast.  She has a large back porch that runs the length of the main house & on over to the Erma house. Plus a gorgeous garden in the backyard. We enjoy hearing the clip-clop of the Amish horses & buggies that go by.  You will not be disappointed.

Great atmosphere,  loved the B&B. Great staff made you feel like you were at home. Very cozy. Thanks for the opportunity to enjoy a weekend away from the city.

I would not recommend The Grapevine House or Erma's House. My friends and I spent 3 nights at Erma's House this past summer.  The miscommunication began with reservations.  No written confirmation as to charge.  Initial phone call and follow up call confirmed $100 per night.  We were charged double.  I called the owner to discuss the issue.  I was treated poorly with a raised voice, rudeness, and not willing to discuss or compromise.  Ultimately I was told to get out immediately and was never welcome back. This is no way to run a bed and breakfast or treat a guest.  For this and several other reasons I will never return or recommend Erma's House, The Grapevine Inn, or The Barn.
