I have so enjoyed my stay at the Grayson. I came back from a trip to South America and found it a great transitional place to stay while I searched for a more permanent home in the Seattle area. Mariam is a wonderful hostess, the room was comfortable, the whole house was clean and warm, and I enjoyed meeting the other guests.  I would stay here again myself and highly recommend it to others.

Recently, I spent about 4 months in Monroe, WA, and I was fortunate enough to have stayed at the Grayson Extended Stay residence – it is truly a 5-star facility in every regard.  The accommodations, location, services, and rates were absolutely first class.  I searched many other places and locations, but none compared to the hospitality offered by Mariam & Mark.  The Greyson residence is located just outside of Monroe, with easy access to Seattle.  The home and rooms are just as they appear on the website – very clean, neat, and comfortable.  The outside of the home is equally impressive with many places to sit and relax on the well-kept property . . . and in season, there is a garden of fresh vegetables and berry bushes waiting for you to sample!! There is excellent wireless internet service throughout the home, each room has a large flat screen TV with satellite service, and every week the rooms are cleaned by a professional maid.  It’s quiet and private, but there is always an open welcome to join Mark, Mariam, and other guests in several common areas inside the home at any time. There’s always complimentary fresh coffee & fruit, and on Sunday morning, a complimentary bountiful brunch – each week is different and always delicious.  Large dedicated spaces are available for your groceries and food items, along with microwaves, toasters, pots/pans/utensils, and stove/oven.  There are new printers (both upstairs and downstairs) and a desktop computer available to all the guests.  There’s a large washer/dryer available for use, at no charge.  Mark & Mariam are long-time residents of the area, and an invaluable resource for places to visit and eat in the surrounding area and know all the best places to hike and fish. 
When your travels bring you to this beautiful area, make your reservations at the Grayson – you’ll be happy you did!

Wow! This place is a dream. Not only is it absolutely beautiful, it is the perfect solution to short-term housing. Thank you for offering such picturesque accommodations at such reasonable prices.
