First time visit to The Habit, I wanted a burger but have recently decided to eat less bread so when I googled where to get a lettuce wrap this place was first on the list. Inside is nicely decorated, lots of seating space, and signs are nice and bright to read the menu. You can see straight back to the kitchen, I ordered a BBQ Bacon Burger and the Fried Green Beans instead of fries. Burger was great, lettuce was wrapped with pieces of lettuce and not just one piece from other places. The greens were good plain, but the spicy sauce that goes with it takes them from a 6-7 to a 10, will return for sure.

It's a decent burger. Is it the best I've had nope. But is it edible and good enough to hit the spot yes. Presentation could be better.

This is the second time they left out ingredients from the salad as if people will not notice. I got the Santa Barbara Cobb salad and there was no blue cheese or bacon crumble. I mean it was a sprinkling of egg and tomato with a small dollop of avocado and a thinly cut dried chicken breast.The quality has gone down and they’re trying to cheat you out of ingredients blatantly.

Delicious Burgers.. got two orders of the double char w. Everything on it sweet potato fries, onionrings and a 5pcs nuggets plus two drinks.. all took about 10min to ring..Food: 4/5

This place is delicious in theory, but in practice, I don't know where they get their staff. It seems like the people working there have never eaten outside of their house in their life. They need WAAAY more training.  Let's see: I ordered a milkshake here, and they didn't maintain their ice-cream machine, so decided to do the maintenance on it when I ordered the shake. It took forever for my order to be ready, and it made my burger cold. Then, whatever ingredients they used were sour. Luckily, I didn't get sick. I ordered online for pickup once and they completely forgot my shake. Once again, I had to wait forever to get someone's attention and fix my order. When I ask for whipped cream on top, a dome lid seemed like a very strange consept to the lady, she gave me a tiny drop of whippedcream piled high in the center of the lid instead of packing it inside the dome and it leaked all over the outside of my cup. She didn't even think to hand me a napkin with it. I left there covered in whipped cream and chocolate syrup.  I have been insanely patient with this place because I do like the burgers. Not too greasy, not too dry, and made with real ingredients, but this last time they didn't just char it they incinerated the bun on my burger. They've messed up my orders too many times. Pay your staff more and get better quality staff.

My wife and I went here on a Wednesday evening after some holiday shopping. The cashier I believe his name was Craig was wearing a reflective vest and was exceptionally helpful and pleasant. Food was delicious. Great dining experience.Food: 5/5

Went there with another person and ordered  two burgers. For some reason each burger was on a different receipt. I specifically asked that both burgers come out at the same time as were eating TOGETHER. One burger came out and had to wait for the second burger. When I told the person working there that the burger that is on the counter is getting cold he threw it in the trash and was told that two new burgers would be coming out shortly. No apology. Nothing. Eventually two new burgers came out. Still no apology. For a burger place they sure do have a hard time making burgers and realizing that one burger DRAGGING does not make for good service.

Amazing burger joint. Always a hit with every visit! Filling for a reasonable and fair price. Love this place!

It's much better then hitting a burger king or McDonald's and Wendy's.  Garlic fries were pretty awesome and they have a pepper bar.  Friends got the tuna and said he enjoyed it.  Other buddy got the chicken was dry and tasteless.  So maybe it was a bad day but who goes to a burger joint to get chicken right?  Lol

After I rated this place 1 star they replied and asked me to email them details about my experience. I did as they requested but they never replied so I am posting what I sent in the email here. We visited the River Edge, NJ location on December 30th. I ordered online and went inside when they said the food would be ready. The cashier told me my order 1 patty melt, 1 burger and an order of onion rings would be ready in a few minutes. Fifteen minutes later I was still waiting. The burgers were ready and sitting there for most of this time. Apparently, the order of onion rings was holding things up. Eventually, an order of onion rings was brought out but the employee packing the orders said it was burnt and told the person working the fryer to make another batch. By the time we got the food the only hot thing was the onion rings. The patty melt was lukewarm and the burger was a cold greasy lump that was not edible. We ate in the car right in the parking lot so it wasn't caused by a long drive home. I can't really say if the burgers were good or not when they were fresh, but they were disgusting cold.
