Amazing halal place in middle of downtown. The service was great. You can have sauces separately and add them as per your liking. The platters and sandwiches both were good and fresh. The bathroom was also very clean and maintained.
Delicious. I've tried this in New York twice before and it never disappoints. First time in SF. We got regular beef plate. Tasty food. Price is reasonable. Staff was nice. Service was fast.Food: 5/5
Just ordered a wrap and a bowl. Both came without the sauce. Very disappointed. Chicken has a weird smell. Was hoping the sauce could make it better but none on the side as well. Should be one star, giving 2 cause i are half the wrap.
First time I had this was in NYC and it was a flavor bomb. The food at this outlet does not seem to be of the same standard. The meat portion can be larger. Warning the red sauce is very spicy, avoid if you can’t take the heat. Overall ok but I do not think I will be back again.
Great halal food place. They have options of platter and sandwiches in chicken, vege, beef and in combos. You have an option to select between sauces like white sauce, mayonnaise and chilli sauce
Brightly lit area, one and only store opened at late hours. Warm and welcoming, good service attitude. Able to choose the level of spiciness and white sauce on your rice. On top of which additional packet of hot sauce and white sauce is given to me. Taste delicious as usual, good reasonable portion. Will come back again
I been here and other locations around the Bay Area but tonight I ordered the limited time only shawarma chicken. The store manager gave my regular size platter very little meat. I never had that problem before so I ask her for more meat cause the meat she put on my platter was not enough. But she decline she said that the portion she put on my platter was correct.
If you're genuinely really in to your food, I do not recommend this place. The taste was bland, the naan bread given was ice cold! If you know a good shawarma you'd expect toppings like hummus but I was charged extra $4 for a dollop. They don't fall short on supplies of extra sauce but that should not be the deciding factor in making your food tasty! The fries were not bad if you're looking for a quick snack.
Food was okay. I've had it in NYC and it's just more flavorful there. The biggest problem was the service. I was asked the same question 3 times by two employees in less than 30 seconds. I told the cashier to just ring me up after he kept asking me more ad more questions about sides, drinks, or add ons. I get the need to ask about making something a combo, but after I've declined, I don't like being asked 3 more times.
Came to sf on a work trip. I was happy to see halal guys next to my hotel. I asked for a small plate. 3/4 of the plate was added with lettuce and tomatos.. With one scoop of rice and chicken each. Very disappointed to see such tactics to make the plate look full. The shocker was at the end when the bill came out to be $16. Food was just flat bland. Not worth the price and how it used to be
