The place is great. They have all I would ever need at pretty reasonable prices and the people there love what they do. They are all friendly and nice and I could not ask for more. I will be returning.

I am an amateur woodworker who has repeatedly returned to the Hardwood Store for all my hardwood needs. Those guys are great - super helpful and great prices. Here are some of the projects I've taken on using wood sourced from the Hardwood Store: - New cabinets throughout my house. All baths got new, 3/4" plywood boxes with cherry face frames. In the kitchen, I used poplar and mdf panels for the new doors and drawer fronts which were painted. - A wood working shop in my basement, also cherry-clad on 3/4" ply carcases. - A wine rack for bottle storage. 3/4" pre-finished birch ply and cherry for the face frames and inside lattice - 4" Quarter-sawn white oak hardwood flooring for the entire first floor of my remodeled house - Multiple bookcases In every case these guys are friendly and helpful. Among other things, they were nice enough to cut down plywood to rough size so that I could get it in the back of my car. I once went out to a hardwood lumber supplier in Raleigh and asked the same and they looked at me like I had three heads... I'm a big fan of the Hardwood Store, highly recommended.
