I've gone to Bridget for a few haircuts, and my hair is growing out better than it ever has before! She knows exactly how to cut and style my curls, and she takes the time to explain exactly what she's doing and why. Kyle has done an awesome job cutting my boyfriend's hair. On top of the great haircuts, the atmosphere in the shop is so comfortable, friendly, and inviting. I highly recommend checking out The Hi Hat.

I was actually nervous to have my beard trimmed and not knowing where to go. Just had my beard trimmed by Bridget Thorn and hands down the best beard trim I've had. Such a relaxed comfortable atmosphere with absolute great staff. I will without a doubt be returning hands down.

I stopped in with my boyfriend to look at hats, and he ended up getting a perfect hair and beard trim!  Everyone was very welcoming and knowledgeable!  I bought the Dirty Girl Farm shampoo and conditioner and am very pleased! At only $8 a bottle these products are all natural, vegan, and made right here in MI.  Great recommendation.  I will be back for more.  As a long time Ferndale resident I am happy to welcome this unique spot to our community and wish them much success!

Great place. Bridget's an amazing experienced  hairdresser. Love coming for a great cut and good conversation. And the hat selection is wonderful if your looking for something classy or casual.

Got a condition treatment for my hair and it's never been softer or more manageable! All of the salon products are all natural and I'm not spending an arm and a leg for quality hair care. Great prices! Oh, and friendly staff, too.
