Stumbled upon this place chance while avoiding I95 traffic and loved it! The decor on one side is a fireplace with deer head mantle and on the other side swings to sit on. The food options are nice and food portions very filling...the waitresses were very quick and efficient.

The family stopped by and we had  mixed reviews , our waitress and the place was great ,  the food  depended on  what you got , We had  the crab dip  , it really had no lump , kinda like a crab paste Itwas the same thing they had on there chicken sandwich , which the chicken had  really no taste and dry  and was the whitest piece of chicken I ever seen  It came with fries that were good The rest of the party went with steaks , which were good  and seasoned well , the mash potatoes were good  We also had some mixed drinks , they were okay but not mixed well After reading othe reviews I agree  the wait staff are great  the food depends what you get If you ask me would I go back or recommend  I probably would go back , would not make a speciall trip  the atmosphere the waitstaff 4 star the food  1 to 4 star depends what you get

Cozy, old-timer atmosphere. Old building is constructed of stone and lumber with huge fire places. Food is okay: crab entrees are the best thing on the menu. Not many vegetation/dairy-free options. Service is fantastic. Full bar service and weekly stage entertainment available.

I admired the amount of time,energy and money you invested in totally redoing the interior and outside areas. We have dined there several times and since the ownership split have been very satisfied  But after all that time, energy and money invested in resurrecting ambiance, service and cuisine, WHY would you stoop to falsely advertise your Steak Night "DEALS"?!? It's obvious you've had complaints because the servers have a prepared answer ready, hoping it will be accepted. Bait and switch is not only unbecoming of where you've come, it's illegal!!!!
