Door installation botched. Ordered new doors both entry way and storm doors - installer was late which was fine but ended up staying later than expected.  The storm doors showed large gaps at the bottom between the concrete and the door (the ones I had on did not have gaps) needless to say the air just seeps in.  I call home depot and they say well the house is settling (has is 60 years old) - sorry already settled.  They claim nothing they can do.  Great storm doors that leak - defeating the whole purpose of storm doors.  6 months later the knobs falls off the entry door.  I try to fix this put continues to happen.  Finally I tighten and the problem is resolved - poor workmanship and I don't feel I got what I paid for.

They way out do Lowe's in helpfulness and kindness. If only they were closer to where I live than Lowe's.  Seriously considering just making the drive from now on! Out of the way service!

Home Depot lies, as my 3 year old and I learned the hard way. We ordered one of their 6 foot Santa's, back In the beginning of November. We paid, received our invoice with receipt and were told we would receive a text message when it came in. Excellent. We stopped looking anywhere else since ours was reserved for us and on the way! We happened to be in Home Depot later that week and noticed they had another display Santa available. We asked if they had a shipment come in (obviously they had) and were told ours wasn't in. We accepted this and left. A few days later we followed up, getting a little concerned a shipment had obviously come in yet they didn't have ours, and were told the item was no longer available and we would not be getting the one they had already ordered for us and for which we had paid. We contacted other locations and were told they don't transfer any merchandise between stores and everywhere was out and not getting any more...whaaaat? Not a Santa to be had. We missed the boat on buying one elsewhere since we were waiting for our promised pre-order to come in. What a scam. If I could give Home Depot a negative rating, I would. My son is so disappointed. My husband and I are HUGE fixer uppers and frequent this store a couple of times a week (which is how we noticed the odd flow of the Santa stock). My husband refuses to go back. Lowe's all the way!!!!! We are so disappointed, and feel bad we promised our son what Home Depot promised us. BOOOOOOOOOOO
