Two gentlemen very helpful! The one took me over to the garden hoses and answered all my questions and made a recommendation of what to buy. The other young guy went and got me another shopping cart (I never asked him to) because it had a bad wheel and I was having a hard time pushing it with the heavy bag of garden soil underneath. He even transferred my items in the cart over into the other cart. I was amazed at the way I was treated. You don't find that kind of service at any other stores. I live 30 minutes away but it's well worth the trip,  I know where I'll shop now.

I was a little worried about if my new storm door would fit (our previous owner had lots of DIY stuff, most off by about 1/4"!). The woman who helped me was really helpful, and helped me make sure I didn't make a costly (or ugly!) mistake.

Furthermore, when I was then trying to get the door into my SUV later, she saw me from her car, and spent another 5 min with me - me realizing a little late (but not too late to thank her) - that she was already off the clock. 

So, she wasn't "just doing her job", she was just being an awesome human being (which represents Home Depot well). I didn't catch her name but I'm hoping management can cross check based upon the time (receipt was 4:27pm today) and properly recognize her.

I called this morning to ask about the availability of a very simple item, which they do stock. I was transferred 3 times to different people who were all unable to tell me how many of this item were available. After the 4th transfer, I was hung up on.
