Very few actual knowledgeable people work here. Several times I've been told what i was looking for didn't exist in their store, and then I've found it on my own. Can't say Lowe's employees are any better though, and Lowe's is definitely more expensive by about 10% on most items. Really wish they would pay a few skilled tradesman what they deserve to head departments. Don't get me wrong there are some good people here, but few and far between.

Shopped today. Looking for one half inch cvs elbows etc. Found plumbing dept. they-were on a shelf at least eight feet high. Unbelievable. . I have been in this store dozens of times and spent hundreds of dollars. Store in general looked unorganized. Help is definitely not the caliber it once was. To the manager you got a problemsI had other items to buy but walked out.

This store is one of the better Home improvement places in the area. The prices are fairly good some border on pricey but most are reasonable. Their online item counts are often wrong but that is a frequent issue with large stores.

Brutal customer service in the lumber department. Finding the nearest Lowe's right now.

I've been a Home Depot credit card customer for years. When I made the decision to purchase a new garage and front door Home Depot was the first place I thought of. I spent 3 hours in the beginning of April with a gentleman in that department picking out the doors. He insured because I was using two separate companies that the doors would match because they were wood. My garage door was installed within 3-4 weeks with no problems. The front door is where the issue came in. I waited a month and a half for a special order for my front door. I took the day off work to have the door installed. That morning, they called and stated that they lost a piece to my door and could not install. They stated they had to special order the piece again. I waited another month for the piece to come in and then it took me 2 weeks to get in touch with someone to install. The soonest installation was July 15 (almost 2 weeks out) almost 3 1/2 months after placing my original order. My elderly father was there for the installation as I was busy with work and had already taken time off previously. The door that was installed had scratches and chips all over it that they filled in with touch up paint. The install tech said that if I was not satisfied though that they would replace the door. The major issue when I saw the door was not the scratches and chips but was that my garage door and front door were COMPLETELY DIFFERENT COLORS OF WOOD. I escalated the situation to management at the Commerce of Home Depot with the end result being a mere $450 in in store credits (granted I spent almost $1700 on my door and almost $4500 for both doors). I felt this was a slap in the face considering the situation. I escalated the issue to the corporate office almost two weeks ago and have yet to obtain a resolution from them or even a return call. I asked the corporate customer care team for the district supervisors contact information and was denied it. At this point, I am not only frustrated but extremely disappointed. All in all, the only thing I wanted was a front door that matches my garage door in which I was promised. I am now 4 months into this issue, maybe Home Depot has a 6 month waiting period on when they can resolve issues for loyal customers.
