Several employees with orange aprons offer me help!!! I am very pleased with this philosophy. Thumbs up to management and employees. " The concept of DIY actually begins at the project site, not in the store." Will keep doing business with them.

Horrible Horrible Horrible customer service in the garden center. Went there today around 12:30pm to get landscaping blocks for a home project. I loaded over 20 of the big cement blocks by myself all while at least 3 male staff were in the vacinity doing nothing. One of the men literally walked by the aisle at least 3 times. I was pouring sweat as I loaded the blocks onto the flatbed. Upon finishing, I began trying to push the cart, but it was extremely heavy. Luckily I was able to maneuver it almost to the cash register in the garden center, but that is when I became extremely pissed. I stopped and thought why would you buy from a business where no customer service is extended. The associates showed absolutely NO concern in assisting me while I darn near sweated to death loading the cement blocks onto the cart. So I left it there and headed directly to the service desk to ask to speak to a store manager. The store manager on site who was responsible for the garden center didn't show an ounce of interest to speak to me. Instead of coming over when an associate advised I had a complaint he simply stared across the counter at me with a rude non welcoming look. Almost in tears from my frustration I headed for the door because I couldn't believe what I was experiencing. A very nice associate whose name I didn't get stopped and advised she phoned the Assistant Store Manager to speak with me and that she was on her way. While I waited she extended a sincere apology, gave me a hug and a bottle of water. I was truly appalled!!! In speaking with Angela the Assistant Store Manager I advised the poor customer service I experienced was shameful. I've spent tons of money in that start since I moved into my new home; everything from a lawn mower, weed eater, grill, paint for my deck, shovels, plants, lightening etc. The associates just linger around in the garden center, don't make eye contact in fear you may ask for help. But it was clear why the associates act that way because the Store Manager over that area customer service was just as equally piss poor and enough to make me just leave the items there. I told Angela I never have these issues when I go to Lowe's. Maybe Home Depot needs to reach out to them and model there customer service. Better yet, I have in-depth corporate training experience and would be more than happy to train your staff on the fundamentals of customer service. This truly has turned me off, today your organization showed me how ONLY my dollar is valued, but not me as a customer. Angela offered to give a discount on the items for the inconvenience, while appreciated I declined! I wasn't looking for a discount, just satisfactory customer service which is severely lacking at this location. Also suggest management spend a little more time walking the floors and observing. Note: Attached is a photo of the cement blocks I loaded while the male associates casually walked by, offering no assistance.

This Home Depot has TRULY dropped the ball in their service with me. First I was told my washer and dryer were going to be delivered the week of my purchase. That fell through. I was then promised and have documentation that my delivery will be September 6 and unfortunately that fell through as well. Now they are giving me an ETA in October. I understand that things don't always go to plan when serving your customers but this is ridiculous. The whole reason we came to Home Depot was because Brandsmart (after we paid a week prior) told us that they didn't have the washer and dryer that we paid them for and wanted us to buy another set that was more expensive than the one we picked out. I thought Home Depot would have a higher standard of customer service and would actually do what the promised or at least try to make up for not doing it but I was sadly mistaken.

I love Home Depot, but had one of worst experiences ever with McDonough Customer Service and one of their managers. I had attempted to purchase a 210ES Grayco Airless Paint Sprayer from Warner Robins GA location. Since they were out, I did a search for closest store with one in stock. McDonough GA was showing one, so I headed their way (1 hour 10 minutes away) I decided to call and ask for paint dept to ensure box wasn’t open and to ensure inventory was available. In describing the unit, I gave model # and $699 price to associate. He stated they did have inventory, but it wasn’t $699, it is $799. I explained it is $699 online, so we d order online for in store pickup. So I hung up and proceeded to order. When I got to item online, it was showing $799 for that store. When I toggled to Warner Robbie no location, it is still $699, so I decided I would wait until I got to store and have Customer Service process the transaction. I arrived at store, picked up sprayer, and additional parts like spare pump, extension wand, spray guard, toolbox, etc. I had about $300 in additional items, and proceeded to Customer Service. I explained situation, and Customer Service agent explained they don’t match online prices. I stated this is not competitive matching, my Home Depot 1 hour away doesn’t have item in stock, so I drove to closest store that did. She said they don’t match prices of other stores. I’m showing her the item on phone and she is verifying in her system and still claimed couldn’t help. I asked for store manager. We waited couple of minutes, and manager called Service Desk. When they hung up, the associate explained manager confirmed they cannot match Warner Robins store price. I reiterated that I wanted to talk to store manager, not have them state they couldn’t do something over the phone. I waited another few minutes for the two to speak again. Instead of manager coming out to greet me, and address concern, she authorized associate to markdown item $100. I waited a few more minutes for order to be keyed, and another few minutes for someone to authorize the transaction. Then the Customer Service associate couldn’t remove the security sensor. Another associate came along and tried. They called an associate from paint who couldn’t open it. Another manager came along and couldn’t remove it, and scissor wouldn’t cut it. Razor knife wouldn’t cut it. I offered to go get cutter from my tool bag. When I returned, they cut the sensor and allowed me to go on my way. I am very dissatisfied with the way the associate handled my situation. She wasn’t courteous, apologetic, or empathetic at all. I was made to feel like I was trying to pull one over on Home Depot. When the associate received approval, she wasn’t happy at all. My time and patronage was not appreciated at this location. I was made to feel they wanted me out of their way and out of their store. I wasn’t happy with manager because she was willing to deny my request without even greeting me. Then she approved request without greeting me. Then I waited 10+ minutes for them to remove sensor. In all, the transaction at Customer Service took 25-30 minutes. One would argue that I should rate McDonough store high for finally agreeing to sell item for $699, but I maintain Home Depot is a corporation, not standalone stores. The stores are 1 hour apart. It is silly for one store to not honor another store’s price because I could buy for $799 and use and return for full refund, or carry item to Warner Robins store, return it, and repurchase at same time for $699 from them. If declining price matching of other HD location is a Home Depot policy, they should change it. If this is a McDonough location policy, then Home Depot corporation should step in and address McDonough store management. Regardless of outcome, this loyal customer is extremely upset and dissatisfied for my treatment by the Customer Service associate, and store manager at the McDonough GA location. It’s also noteworthy to state that the online store located directs you to distribution warehouse.
