We work at an Ace Hardware in town. We know what customer service is supposed to be like. This Home Depot is one of the worst I've ever seen when it comes to service!! If we could go negative on a rating we would. All we needed was a shower and shower walls and we were told that it would be at least 30 mins before someone could help us. We just needed the product off of a higher shelf. Come on people there were men standing everywhere and nobody was capable of grabbing a ladder to help us out!! Jennifer in flooring is great and Juan one of the managers is awesome however, they were both gone. Maybe the rest of the staff there should take some lessons off of these two.

Mike in electrical took the time to not only get me the right replacement part for a ceiling fan, but also took the broken part out. Very incredible customer service.

The Home Depot usually has what we need for a project and they have a decent selection to choose from for most items. Unfortunately, if you are having trouble finding something or need any help while shopping, that is when you run into trouble. You literally have to walk all over the store trying to find someone who works there to help you and usually when you do find someone, they are trying to assist several customers already so you end up having to wait a while before they can help you. Then a lot of times the response is that they don't have an answer for you or don't know where an item is because they don't work in that department and they say they will have an associate that covers that department come talk to you which leads to more waiting. The employees are usually polite, the store is just understaffed and the employees seem to be overwhelmed. On our most recent visit we needed to have a piece of wood cut and after locating what we wanted and spending another 15 minutes trying to find someone to help us we were told that the guy that worked in the lumber area had 2 other people to help and then they'd send him over to us. We ended up waiting about 40 minutes to have a piece of wood cut. Then we had to wait about another 10 minutes in line to pay because there were not a lot of registers open and there was a bottleneck of people trying to check out, so something that should have taken maybe 15 minutes tops took us about an hour and 15 minutes to accomplish. Adding more employees so we could get the help we need when shopping would change our middle of the road 3 star rating to 5 stars.

Horrible customer service. Why are these folks in retail? Always feel like we're bothering them, like they are on break or something. I suggest mandatory customer service classes for all the tools!
