I stopped in just to take a look at the studio and inquire about the classes. I was greeted by the owner with a warm smile and a hug. Little did they know how badly I needed such a warm and friendly stranger to show me kindness and acceptance. I was invited into a class that was just starting. It was called gentle stress relief and was instructed by Suzy. I suffer from fairly severe anxiety and this class was so amazing, it reduced every ounce of my anxiety and by the time I left I don't think I had a single knot left in my body. After the class Suzy asked me how I felt about my experience. And I told her the honest truth. It was amazing, and please sign me up for everything! I decided to start with one week of unlimited classes so that I could determine what my schedule will allow me to do. But I fully intend to sign up for monthly unlimited classes. When I left I called everyone I knew including my boss and told them all how great I felt and invited them all to try a class with me, on my dime. Can't wait to go to a new class tonight!!

I am editing this review after receiving a phone call offering me a refund for the class. I think that was a thoughtful offer and it was appreciated but also not what I was seeking by leaving my review. I was also asked to remove my review. While I understand no business owner wants a "bad review" this is how these things work. 

I have been practicing yoga for over 5 years and I am also a RYT. I picked the "gentle" yoga class because my Mom has a metal rod in her back. She needs a slow moving flow. So based on the class description we are walking into it thinking it will be just that. Instead we took a class where we laid flat on our backs the entire hour. This was like no yoga class I have ever taken. I am healthy and I left feeling stiff and achey in my lower back and neck. My Mom felt awful. In my previous review I said this needs to be mentioned BEFORE class. Just a quick "Hey, You're going to be on your back the entire hour." I would have said thanks but no thanks and found a different class. 

Thank you for calling me to try to make it right but I also have the right to review my experience of this studio.

a wonderful studio, with a beautiful space.  the owner is super gracious, very very friendly and over all just awesome.  they have a variety of classes and a great community of people. highly recommend!

So much more than just yoga. Nikki greats everyone as if she's known you forever. She makes you feel welcome as soon as you walk in. Her classes are unique, fun and fab!
