Nice place that serves great food within the food-court for the mall. Has nice seats and looks welcoming from a distance.

I used to love this place in the Roosevelt Firld Mall on Long Island.  I always got the salmon with the soba noodle salad - which was discontinued (why!?!). Today my meal was a whopping $17 and change. I got the smallest piece of greasy salmon I have ever seen. The roasted beets and kale slaw were very so-so tasting with too much dressing that made it soggy and limp.  Portion size was lacking, taste was not up to where it was 6 months ago, and the grease! There is no need to cook a fatty fish with so much oil. I'll venture to add that most people choose The Little Beet because we want food that is healthy but also tastes good and we are willing to pay double the average mall meal to achieve those goals. Today left me disappointed and dissatisfied.

I had 3 sides. A quinoa based one, a kale one, and a cabbage & soba based one. They were fabulous and surprisingly filling! I rarely go to the Roosevelt Field Mall so I wish they had a restaurant closer to Massapequa - I would definitely frequent the place!! As a person who tries to cook and eat healthy I totally appreciate the work that goes into making these dishes. Even my 19 yr old son thought the flavors were great (he tasted my leftovers) & asked me if I could make some more.  I wish!

The Little Beet offers healthier options for meals inside of Roosevelt Field Mall's food court. They even offer food for vegans which is my main attraction. This store also offers cold pressed juices and bottled greens that will fill you up as a liquid meal. The service, food and area are all nice and well kept. The Little Beet, Thanks for being around!
