after seeing all the bad reviews i was really concerned but we really had a good experience.  Flat screen and fridge in room.  We were in one of the private buildings away from the lodge so it was quiet. Lake view and we had a patio. One review i agree with was that the lady at the front desk had NO idea what she was talking about,  but for us it worked in our favor.  Breakfast was good,  lots of choices plus omelette bar. Goes until 10:00. Overall a decent experience.

very nice AND quiet.  Close to everything.  could use some updating but in hindsight, gives that old town feeling.  Nice bar and omelettes for breakfast a plus.

The Lodge of Leathem Smith did a fine job the day of our rehearsal dinner, wedding ceremony & reception. The food was wonderful and the servers did a great job. The location was quite perfect for our celebrations and we enjoyed having our guests right onsite. The only thing that would have made the experience better would have been for the Lodge of Leathem Smith to have a designated Events Planner. They need somebody to handle all the arrangements, contracts, questions, confirmation of how the details will occur, executing the details on the day of so guests don’t have to be frantically getting everything done within 2 hours of the wedding, making sure billed amounts are accurate, etc. This would have helped with the hiccups we had along the way.

Went to a graduation reunion here and the food was and drinks was great. Good job in handling our group and a wedding group.

I love working with Paul and Holly on my wedding planning and the food in the restaurant is amazing. When my big day was finally there I was super disappointed because there was some hidden fees and the gratitudity wasmuch larger than expected and things weren't set up the way expected or explained. There was miscommunication about the food so some things weren't as expected. And the wait staff was rude and disrespectful. For as big and fancy as Paul talks it definitely wasn't what was expected. No true apologies either
