A boutique hotel on the shore of Lake Pend Oreille with 30 guest rooms and three rustic cabins.

Story

Our Lodge is located on 600 feet of private lake frontage on picturesque Lake Pend Oreille. With rooms on four different levels, the sweeping views from the decks are spectacular. Each guest room is spacious and comfortable with some of the most luxurious bedding you can experience.

We have two outdoor hot tubs, a workout room and swim dock and two restaurants on site. A Continental breakfast is included.

We had to make a trip to Sandpoint and I called last-minute to get a room. We lucked out, one was available! Our stay was fantastic for the one night. Rooms are clean and very nicely done with any amenity you could need or want available. Staff was very nice. Food at the restaurant was delicious and we would definitely stay here again if ever in the area. Only problems we noted were: breakfast ended at 10 am, and we got there at 930. There was hardly anything left to eat. That was disappointing, but the coffee was good... Price is way too high for the area for a hotel,motel,lodge room, at just a little under $300 a night , with check in after 4 pm and check out at 11 am. We had to listen to trains all night long and the sound of traffic, but hey, that's not the fault of the lodge. For our needs, this lodge fit the bill and we had a great night sleep in a comfortable bed and a spotless room. Only suggestion is price needs to be adjusted for your area, way too expensive, and they didn't give us our AAA discount. This is not a 5 star resort...just saying.

Showed up with a large group 2 hours before closing and they were very accommodating. Only one server for a table of 17 and he handled it like a champ. Food got mixed reviews from adequate to great depending on taste. I had the catch of the day (patrale sole) which was very pleasant but a person who's family were fish mongers did not feel the preparation was correct for the fish.  The smoked filet was a little overpowering in my opinion. If you like a lot of sauce with your steak this place is great. If you want your protein to stand on it's own you probably won't like The Lodge. The steaks were cooked magnificently in my opinion.

We had dinner at Shoga sushi in The Lodge at Sandpoint for my birthday. The service was great, the atmosphere was fantastic and the food was good. We enjoyed the experience overall.

Friendly staff, plush rooms, good breakfast, and a fantastic location. A wonderful place to stay in Sandpoint.

The food was very good, my wife loved her drinks, and the view from our patio seat was incredible. We made a 45 minute trip and it was worth it.
