Superb place... It's not the newest and fanciest, but it has old school charm. The owner is very friendly, the donuts delicious, only place we will stay when going to Cedar Point! There is a train track across the road, so you do have to get used to the occasional whistle... Great rates, clean rooms!

Very accommodating. Small motel. Good recommendations on eats. Could of had an open outlet or two to charge phone. BTW bring your own shampoo.

The room was fantastic for the money. We got a family room that slept six. It was just what we needed. Also had the charm of a historic motel. The room was clean. There were delicious honey crisp apples in the office. The owner was fun and kind. We enjoyed our time there.

The staff was super friendly, IMPORTANT on travel sites that have the super cheap room, that's for a non air-conditioned room. We got upgraded for a small up charge. Rooms were clean, the occasional towel wasn't. Great place to stay if your going to cedar point. The only real problem I have is it's close to a busy railroad, trains every hour or so even in the night.

Best place to stay in Sanducy hands down!!! The owner Steven is doing a great job carrying on his parents tradition of a clean mom and pop no corporate America hotel offering little extras like fresh baked donuts on a Sunday morning all at a fair price. No dirt on these floors Clean bathrooms doors with real keys Do your self a favor and stay at the Shady Maple Keep up the great job we will be back soon
