Beautiful hotel with beautiful rooms in a gorgeous, historical location. Staff are very friendly and helpful. The renovations struck the right balance of preserving the historic feel and creating a modern hotel.

I had some trouble getting in a few nights during my stay because of some key problems, which required someone to come over from another hotel where the check-in is, but I understand the hotel is working to have some reception at the actual hotel soon.

There aren't a ton of exciting amenities, basic cable on a nice TV... It's not a spa/pool kinda place, but clearly the point of this historic hotel is the experience of enjoying the charming city that surrounds it and coming home at night to a comfy place that is cougruant with the historicity of its surroundings.

- Overpriced for what it is.  I was charged $170 a night but was quoted and booked for $139.  Valet is $25 per night.
- Noisy broken heater.  The room was always cold.
- Bad sewer like smell 
- On premise restaurant only open for breakfast, closed 5 nights a week.
- No hot water.  Takes forever to run hot water then it turns cold almost instantly.

The room was very cold all the time even with the heat on.
You have to wait for about 5 minutes for the hot water to kick in.
The restaurant downstairs was close all the time. 
The room smelled bad most of the time. 
The parking is a pain and you have to use there valet parking which was expensive.

Great spot.  Very friendly staff.  Three buildings with one hotel, so they recommended I stop back for the other two.  Easy, easy for business trip.  Nice breakfast in the morning.

Great location in the heart of Annapolis! The rooms were nicely decorated and the staff was very accommodating.
