The atmosphere was the classic American diner straight out of the '50s and I had great hopes for the dining experience. Unfortunately my wife's salad was, as she described it, tired, with the lettuce looking decidedly brown at the edges, to the point that she was not willing to eat it. My steak was nice and tender, but closer to well done than the medium rare that I ordered. The mashed potato that came with it was OK, but the vegetables were from the freezer.
Two stars were given rather than one because the service was cheerful and friendly and my wife's salad was deducted from the bill without any discussion being required.
Overall, this place has the makings for a unique classic dining experience, but a step up is required in the kitchen.

This place is awesome. If you want some good, greasy diner food, this is the place. Service is really good, and it's easy to get to. I never leave unsatisfied. There's also a bar, so I visit a few times a week.

I go here every Friday for breakfast and just love it. The food is good and the prices low. They also have a bar with a divey feel.

When you're coming from the bars in the area. This a some down right good breakfast! The help was fantastic, and the food was even better!

Excellent "dive bar." Delicious food, good cocktails, fun decor, great price. We found street parking within a couple blocks.
