The 80th floor of the Aon Building is The Mid-America Club.
I've been a member for many years and this place is by far one of the best private clubs to join.
The atmosphere is elegant. The food is 5 Star as well as the staff.
It's a great place for business and pleasure. The views from that height is absolutely incredible day and night. You can see all of Downtown Chicago and all the history it contains!
I highly recommend that you contact them regarding membership.
I hope to see you there!!

Very disappointing.  I have enjoyed dining at the Mid-America Club in the past and would even consider it an ideal event venue.  They don't always have reservations open, so I was excited to book a reservation for a special evening, tonight (October 27), over two weeks in advance on October 12.  I received confirmation from OpenTable and emails on October 13 and yesterday, October 26.  I also received a text message confirmation of my reservation yesterday on October 26 which I responded to and confirmed.  Then, today, 5 hours before my reservation time, I receive an email from someone at another Club, letting me know that my reservation is cancelled due to a special event that closed the club and was planned long ago.  They offered to accommodate me at another Club which is not nearly the experience I had in mind.  Needless to say, this is not only very disappointing but also very embarrassing to have my plans destroyed on the day when they could have (1) not accepted the reservation in the first place and (2) delivered the news somewhere before 5 hours to dinner time (a week ago maybe? at least?)... This is a far less than ideal guest experience and very inconsiderate to a guest with special plans in place for two weeks.

Good venue but not as good as the Metropolitan Club.

Well this is definitely the place to be. Are you looking for a great scenery at a perfect locations with and amazing view of the World, than the Mid-America Club is where its at. A place for a one night romantic scenery with your significant other or to enjoy with a group of friends. Whom ever you come with to this place this is where memories are build and last a lifetime! It also becomes part of your lifestyle you grow with people you meet a place where you can network build relationships with the staff and management and other people who come just to enjoy a lovely night! 

I recommend this place to everyone! It's a must try and experience if only just one time!!!

Wonderful steak and lobster Friday night special. The dining room was quiet and wait staff was attentive. The view from 80 stories up was stupendous. Navy Pier was in sight. Cityscape at night is beautiful.
