Came here for breakfast on a Wednesday while visiting Chicago-was excited to try as reviews seemed great but left disappointed. Good things: Affordable, large portion sizes. We ordered a Venetian skillet and substituted the specialty danish blueberry pancakes -this was the perfect amount for 2 people! Great service, very attentive and friendly. Not so good: the skillet lacked flavor, we both kept adding hot sauce and ketchup for the flavor. The vegetables such as the tomatoes seemed undercooked and a bit still raw. Pancakes were good but a bit too sweet. We also ordered the cappuccino which was made from intelligentsia beans but the milk to espresso ratio was off for both cups so it ended up tasting more like lattes...

Wonderful breakfast place, I had the 3eggs with minced ham and cheddar cheese, hash browns and toast, my Husband had the butcher block with pancakes. Large portions! You won't leave hungry. There is often a long wait but the food makes up for it. The staff is in constant motion and seemed well trained, very friendly, and they all seem to enjoy working there. The owner is often on hand, working as hard as his employees. I can not say enough good things. . . We may plan a trip back to Chicago just for breakfast there! Check in via smart phone to cut your wait time down.

The service, and place is awesome! The food...DELICIOUS!! I went to see the bean at sunrise, then walked over to Wildberry (right across the street), we were there right after they had open, so no waiting for me (lucky us)! But boy was there a line when we were leaving. It's worth the wait, I will definitely come back next time I'm in Chicago!

Pro-tip - get on the wait list via Yelp early!! Service was above average for the amount of tables our waiter was serving. Food was A-OK. Nothing phenomenal, but a pretty good breakfast. Prices are high, but it's Chicago. Next time I'm in Chicago - I'm definitely going to try something else. Not saying don't go, but don't expect amazing things.

I cannot explain in better words how amazingly delicious our breakfast at Wildberry was. Simply put it was the best breakfast I have ever had at a restaurant. The berry bliss pancakes are to die for. It looks sweet and sugary, but it is light, savory and does not overwhelm you. Everything was super seasoned and flavorful. Even the wildberry orange juice was a unique touch. If I am ever in Chicago again, I will be eating here.
