This was my first time to the Mixx since JS Salon had moved. The new salon is beautiful. I've gotten my hair cut, highlighted, and balayage-d now by Gabby and it has been excellent every time. I usually come in with an idea of what I want and let Gabby put her expertise to use. I have never been disappointed.

Took a chance cause I got deal on Groupon. What a horrible cut I got. Got home and cried my eyes out. I brought pictures of cut I wanted. Gabby was my stylist and she explained a cute cut she did for another client, but I preferred my pic. She proceeded to give me the other client's hair cut. I wish I would have said something at that point. I did not like it nor was it suitable for my fine, thinning out hair. She blow dried and styled, it look hideous, had to run my fingers on bangs to get them off my face as they looked like a sausage roll. She then pulled up hair on top of my head and asked if length was ok, it was too long in my opinion and did not blend well with the shorter parts. I told her she can make it shorter, which she did. Then, well......in a blink of an eye she took hair in front (by temple) and chopped it off! I remained silent as damage was done and rest of hair needed to be cut to match and she just kept cutting and cutting. I left salon with 1 to 1-1/2 inches of hair length with exception of the very top and bangs. What the hell was she thinking? I get sick to my stomach every time I think about or look in the mirror. Thank God I have wigs. Was hoping to not have to wear them any more, unfortunately will have to suffer until hair grows out. Of course, will not go back!

I went today and Gabby did my hair. She did a great job I was really happy with the cut.  I was in desperate need!
