We used the Metro from Alexamdria to the Strathmore. It made the trip very easy and was only 3.85 from Alexandria to the Strathmore stop which was quite a deal. The Strathmore was very beautiful. It was a beautiful facility with amazing acoustics. The Strathmore seemed to be super supportive of the local community , especially the children. All children get seats for free, ages 7-17. The seats were comfortable and spacious. We will definitely come back for other events !

The shows here are always phenomenal! Top talent performers end a courteous staff. And parking is a breeze. It is an excellent music center. Good program with a variety of styles. A nice contemporary building with great acoustic and views. Seating is comfortable. The hall is beautifully decorated with light wood. There is a cafe. No waiters and it is quite simple but serves dinners starting 2 hours prior to an evening performance and drinks, snacks, and desserts before performances and during intermissions. It is a local favorite for music.

Easy to get to, either by metro or car. Parking is free when an event is occurring. The cafe on site has a nice selection of food and a limited selection of beer and wine available too. The music center has comfortable seats and each seat has a good line of site to the stage area. The sound volume was perfect, not too loud. I will definitely go there again

Excellent place for concerts. Very comfortable and accessible. Great acoustics. The pre-concert restaurant is a nice touch! Terrific value for the money!
