My experience at Palm Court for high tea was simply exquisite. The elegant ambiance, adorned with lush greenery, created a serene setting. The high tea selection was a feast for the senses, featuring an array of delicate finger sandwiches, delectable pastries, and perfectly brewed teas. The service was impeccable, with staff catering to every need. The attention to detail in presentation and the quality of each bite made this high tea experience truly memorable. Palm Court is undeniably a haven for those seeking a sophisticated and indulgent afternoon tea
Located inside the iconic Plaza Hotel across from Central Park and Fifth Ave. Took my son for their holiday tea time, the valet was hard to get into, but once we made it to the front they made us feel welcomed, the check-in was easy and friendly, the staff was very caring and professional, the tea bites and experience was just wonderful. I recommend trying it at least once to be a part of their 100+ year history and your memories.
Afternoon tea at the Plaza was an experience I will not forget. The service was impeccable and the food excellent. They have a wonderful menu for gluten free also. This is one of those places you get what you pay for and then some. If you are into afternoon tea this should be on your must list. Dietary restrictions: Gluten free
A truly five star experience. Beautiful setting, selection of afternoon tea treats and service. My friend and I absolutely enjoyed our experience. My friend is a vegetarian and Palm Court made sure that her afternoon was just as delicious as mine. I have been lucky to enjoy many afternoon teas and I rate The Plaza's as one of the very best.
Had a wonderful experience at the Plaza Hotel for their afternoon tea. Went with my girlfriends for our annual tea and were served by Kabir our waiter. He was absolutely fantastic, has been there for 30+ years, told us famous stories and who he has seen, and helped us with our tea choices. It’s always great to talk to the servers there as many have such fun New Yorker stories. Get the ‘Plaza Signature Afternoon tea’ and add champagne brut very dry or champagne rose quite sweet to your meal. Expensive ~$200 in total but worth it for a special girls date .
The real prize here is just being at the Plaza other then that I do not see what the hype is all about. The wagyu burger was mediocre at best. Just tasted like any normal burger and not worth 38 dollars at all. The apple cocktail drink was nothing special either. The waiter was not attentive. Had to ask twice for water and only refilled it when asked. He was never proactive. I did like our cheese plater and small Desserts
Extraordinary interiors and the service at the bar were very attentive and friendly. We enjoyed a bottle of rose champagne and our afternoon here. Bar snacks are also available. High tea requires reservation in advance.
The price to quality ratio is just not there. I did tea ceremonies in different places and it was way more pleasant than this one. Tea was luke warm and felt not enough concentrated. Sweets were cute , tasted ok but nothing special. Service was average. If I could take a day back I would not go and save the money. There are plenty on nice tea/coffee places in NYC for the fraction of the price.
Everything was amazing can’t wait to come again! Treena Marie M The Palm Court at the Plaza Hotel Special thanks to our host Brian who gave us fantastic service and made us feel so special! Also special thanks to Mary C. our server and to the staff that seated us they were also very attentive and gave us great customer service!Food: 5/5
The Palm Court holiday afternoon tea was awful. What a monumental disappointment. I would love to rate the service but there was none. The server brought out our tea, with the teapot covers off, along with the tiered sandwiches and savories rack, never to be seen again until the bill was presented. The sandwiches were inadequate and the desserts were so sweet they were inedible. Overall you will do much better choosing another afternoon tea house and I'm sure it will be a better experience. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME!
