In The Portela Law Firm they have very good lawyers. They represented me in a immigration matter. Attorney Catherine J. handled my case. She is a very nice person, knowledgeable and very effective. She got my immigration case approved. She prepared an Petition and Waiver for my husband and both were approved very quickly. I'm very happy and excited because my husbands now has a legal status. I'm am forever greatfull and in debt to this firm.

I had a case where I in my opinion was in an extremely tight spot. I saw no way out and I fortunately came upon the Portela Law Firm. Mr Manuel Portela was extremely helpful and the services of himself and his staff were excellent. If you are ever in any situation where you may require attorneys Portela Law Firm is the place to go.

I was summoned to court by the the new landlord of the building where my business is at  for non payment of property taxes.  I was never charge property taxes by the previous landlord before.
I hired this firm to negotiate with the landlord a fair agreement that would allow me to stay in business. After rigorous conversations with the landlords attorney, and without it having to be drag
for a long time in court, this firm, me and the landlords attorney came to a mutual agreement where my business will remain open and the landlord will charge me property taxes every six months.
The outcome was reasonable  and one that leaves both parties satisfied and in good terms. My case was handled with professionalism and with my best interests in mind.
