Reviews

Great food at a fair price in a warm environment.  The Mrs and I were staying at a nearby B&B.  The Porthole was recommended by the B&B owner.  We were visiting from Austin, TX and are used to southern hospitality.  Something I rarely experience when traveling in this part of the world.  Sorry Boston.  However, the wait staff was super friendly.  Advised us southerners not only on what food was a must but also must do's in the area.

Living in Fredericksburg, VA, just arrived at Logan and first stop was the Porthole (pub).  Awesome waiter last night and always outstanding food.  I ordered 1 doz. Oysters and the Admiral platter!

Comfy neighborhood plce. Bar in the center, music on Thursdays. This is where you go when you just want a simple fish dinner or chowder and no dressing up. Good portions, pretty good menu but we love about the porthole is its unpretentious local quality.

Im love this Restaurant evan though i dont care much for seafood. But I kniw it has awesome , food. Its view of the Lynn Beach is PRICELESS. And the memories of me and my family dead and alive i cherish and will never forget. Great service here as well.
