What a charming little place for books and coffee! I wish we would have checked this place out earlier. I really enjoyed my mocha latte and my husband loved his cortado. Kids also loved this cute kids area with toys and books. We left happy with some books and coffee. All the staff were nice and friendly as well. We will be coming back for sure!

This is an awesome little bookstore and cafe. Found a cute little VW BUS puzzle for my grandson who loves stagger wagons!  Working here this morning in a quite little neighborhood in Lafayette. They had an incredible veggie sandwich and terrific latte.  I highly recommend enjoying the outdoor seating on a beautiful Spring day like today at the foot of the Rockies.  Great internet connection which matters a lot to me because I chose The Read Queen as my office today building my online business for two hours in a quiet spot, a cute little table outside. Cute and cozy. Good coffee. WiFi. Many little gift ideas beyond books. However, I wish there were more indoor seating. Although the place is quite small. There are only two two-person tables inside along with some lounge chairs. Many outdoor tables in warmer seasons. Highly recommended nonetheless.

The Read Queen is a quaint, yet abundantly full and vibrant bookstore! The staff is very sweet and courteous and there is a lot to choose from! They also have some beautiful little cards and gift ideas! Not to mention the spicy honey chai latte is to die for! I will be visiting often!

Cute bookstore with an excellent coffee bar. I particularly like their refreshers such as the Iliad. There's a good selection of books, including an extensive fiction and young adult fiction section. In an odd twist, the science section is back in the kids books, but I could see that working out. It's a great local bookstore and we've bought several books from here. Highly recommend supporting them.

I love this place. Intimate bookstore with great gifts and coffee bar. Plus they have a quite reading room in the back. So lovely to still have a small business bookstore so close. Love to hang out here and always find a great unique gift.

Very nice, cozy place. It has quite magic atmosphere, so you want to spend more time there, lol. Nice books, including a few mystery books  And a few different cute things from stickers to candles. They also make tasty coffee and have a selection of pastries And check out their events including monthly book club

Great coffee shop! I wish there were more options bc the coffee they use isn't my favorite, that being said the atmosphere here is just amazing, and even if the coffee tasted like dirt it doesn't!! I'd still go for the atmosphere alone. Super friendly staff, great deals in bookstore and brilliant idea having lounge in back. This is my new hangout even though I live in Boulder,  and the people I meet up with live in Broomfield and Thornton .

A wonderful gem in olde town Lafayette. If your looking for a book for any age or genre,  or simply a coffee, tea, or treat this is a place you should consider.  It's these kind of businesses that make one want to support small, local businesses. My wife and I will return again to enjoy this quaint Lafayette gem.

They have a good selection and very helpful staff. I like their affordable used books and lots of interesting goods beyond new/used books. You can find lower prices on new books, but buying local when you can is important.
