From appliances to cars to children's clothing and vacuum cleaners, our Takoma Park store offers like-new items in a clean and organized shopping environment. Inventory varies, but commonly found products include: dresses, shirts, pants, hats, gloves, scarfs, shoes, belts, onesies, coats, sleepers, ties, ice skates, blenders, plates, cups, dishes, drapes, sheets, coffee makers, lamps, kitchen utensils, rugs, towels, pots and pans, games and books.
When people donate goods to The Salvation Army, those items are then sold at Family Stores like this one. And the proceeds are used to fund our Adult Rehabilitation Centers, where those in the grip of addiction find help, hope, and a second chance at life.
Need to drop off your donated items? You can do so at this location between 9:00 am and 6:00 pm Monday through Saturday.
