Story

The Spinnaker has panoramic views of the San Francisco skyline, Sausalito Waterfront, Angel Island, Belvedere, Alcatraz and the Bay Bridge. Floor to ceiling glass walls enable our guests the chance to enjoy the scenery from every angle in the dining room, built on piers directly over the water. The view is unrivaled and is the best in the San Francisco Bay Area.

Our menu offers something for everyone, with fresh Seafood, Pasta, Steak, Chicken, and Vegetarian options. Highlights include the Mixed Seafood Grill, Pacific Mahi Sauté, Grilled Lobster Tail, Grilled Chicken Penne, Four-Cheese Ravioli, Filet Mignon, Chicken Breasts Sauté, and Pasta Primavera. We also serve Salads, Appetizers, and Sandwiches. Desserts include many sinful selections.

Outstanding experience...the view of the San Francisco skyline is unrivaled as well as the Sausalito bay at night.. cocktails are well priced.... food is exquisite. Service is spot on....there is not a bad seat in the house. I've been there before and will certainly visit again. Please go see for yourself!!

If you would like a restaurant with great views - you absolutely come here. If you want a restaurant with great food? You should probably keep looking. There was nothing wrong with our food but it was all just 'okay'. I had the Baha prawns which were massive but completely unseasoned. The whole restaurant is a bit like a time warp as it clearly hasn't been refurbished in a very long time. With bus loads of tourists stopping off here's it's definitely a tourist trap but one that's worth it if you're able to get a table near the window.

The steak was good, I would say 8 out of 10 but not great! The Calamari was really oily and no spices, I had to add salt and pepper to be able to eat that. The view is great, the environment is wonderful, it is very quite and usually they play lovely music which is relaxing. You can experience memorable dinner there with your loved one. The waiters are not welcoming and sometimes you feel guilty to ask about the food or request something extra, after food they clean the table very fast BUT you have to pay. I have been there many times and I will go back again not for the food but for the experience of the restaurant environment.

This place has been here for many years and has amazing views. The waitress was friendly, the lobster bisque was wonderful. The dinner was less than desirable. As we were seated, the table next to us had a family with a toddler running around and screaming. They left, and another family with two children was seated next to us. While the waitress was trying to wipe the finger prints of the little girl from the last family, she told us that kids are always putting their fingers on the window. The children from the next family were now running around and screaming about the boats passing by. What was supposed to be a romantic dinner was a huge disappointment.

What a great place! The service was outstanding and the food could not be any better. From our arrival to the end we had nothing but top-notch care. Thank you so much for making our anniversary so special.
