My food was good. It was brunch, however, it was cold and so was my friends burger. Another friend had the Shepard pie and that was fine. The waitress was lovely and helpful. The attention to us was phenomenal, so they gladly re-heated our food. Priced right and a very cozy atmosphere. I would go again but I’d let them know beforehand that I wanted only hot food.
St James is an excellent local restaurant!! Great food, ice cold drinks and truly the best service.. Kevin was the difference maker for us. He was friendly, continously check on us and made sure our drinks were always FULL!! Slainte!!! Pat & Tishe
A lovely dinner and a few drinks. Fairly slow evening, a Monday, but we had pleasant service and fresh food.Food: 5/5
Not a big fan this time around. Wings were not that good, dry and lukewarm. Pretzel bites were tasty but dipping sauces were very watery and not very flavorful. Hummus was ok but pita chips were not pleasant at all. I would have preferred non toasted pita bread because the chips were like very hard crackers. Fish and chips was good.Food: 3/5
My Fiancé & I came here and enjoyed their food! Their Everything Pretzel Sticks were really good! My fiancé had a Guinnesscuz..why not? and a Shepards Pie. I had their most delicious St. James Burger! . We really enjoyed the decor of it!
We visit St James occasionally, and usually enjoy the atmosphere and service, but tonight was the exception! We were seated outside which is what we asked for because it was a beautiful night. We were completely ignored by both waitresses. Maybe because we are 70+?? Just saying. We had to get our own drinks by the outside bartender. Someone in our party asked for a rare steak sandwich with sauteed onions. She was served a over well done sandwich with crispy onions on it. Our waitress apologized, but, too little, too late.
Went recently for the first time and was pleasantly surprised. Relaxing atmosphere with great food and drinks.Food: 5/5
Great food, excellent bartender, awesome atmosphere. Also a great place to grab a to go place drink for the train.Food: 5/5
Not sure what happened here. When they first reopened in 2020 the food was so good, whoever was back there knew what they were doing. Now the food is just mediocre and the menu hackneyed.Food: 1/5
Excellent atmosphere, great food. They do corned beef right. If I can make it back, I look forward to getting the Shepherd's Pie.Food: 5/5
