My first visit to The Verona Woods was at 6:30 PM on a Saturday night. I haven't been to this part of Verona in several years and wow, has it developed! The restaurant is located on a corner, and getting to it is a little wonky given this area was just recently developed. The restaurant displays a modern exterior as it is part of a shopping complex, but the interior is rustic and modern. We sat as a large party of 8 and the waiter was prompt and attentive. Great wine selection and drink menu. The menu offers a range of items with several gluten free options. I enjoyed fish tacos very much and my friend likewise enjoyed the chicken street tacos. Another friend ordered the salmon and asked for extra vegetables in lieu of a potato. He got a very small piece of salmon and extra vegetables were not apparent on the rather sparse plate. His neighbor, who ordered the halibut, had a very generous piece of fish and spinach, so he helped her finish her fish. We were out by 8:30 pm and noted the bar area was still pretty busy with customers there watching basketball. I look forward to going back for a second dinner!

Came in with my husband after getting into town. We just were a beer and a bite and got exactly what we were looking for. He got the wings, I got some nachos. I'm really glad I got the half order as it was very generous. I even double checked with the bartender that he hadn't accidentally put in the full 😂! Great value there. The wings were also a good size and tasty. The Spotted Cow was chilled *perfectly* and the staff seemed very willing to chat about the beers, even recommending thing to try at the neighboring restaurants and bars.

Very friendly wait staff and owner. Food has been awesome on every visit. The bartender is really handsome and charming.

Pretty typical bar fare with sandwiches, burgers, and appetizers. Wait staff has been pretty slow the three times we've been here - especially for the first touch base. Given the lack of competition in the area it is a good choice if you need a bite to eat before heading to WI Brewing Company.

Had brunch at the Woods this weekend. Beautiful building and atmosphere. Service wasn't fantastic - complete mix-up on one order, another came out of the kitchen cold. But management was very apologetic and fixed the issues quickly. The food itself was very good. I'll probably try them again for dinner in the coming months.
