Do not recommend this place at all!!! The cake was not even close to what we asked for..  they forgot to add one of the main details on the cake and the cake wasn't even near the color we showed them. They tried to argue with us which is so unprofessional . They know they messed up bad and they had at least 7 weeks notice and yet the cake looked rushed and thrown together . The man I spoke to , I assume is the owner was not friendly at all. I knew from the beginning not to order from this place but my husband wanted to give them a try . I told him not to but he did any way and we ended up with a cake that is not what we wanted not even close. We took it anyway after they tried to fix it which made us late to our own birthday party for our toddler . The best part is that when we cut into it it wasn't even the flavor we asked for either!! What a joke!  However , I will say that although everything was a mess and they didn't get anything right what we did get tasted good. Although I will never , ever , ever use this bakery again or recommend them .

These guys are true artists! My Alien sculpture cake for my birthday was so detailed and realistic! Delicious vegan chocolate cake! I just could not be happier with it. A+++ work guys! Thank you! BEST. BIRTHDAY. EVER.

This bakery provided the best service I have ever experienced. The staff went above and beyond for my last minute weekend order. I ordered a cookie cake that was moist and rich. Everyone raved at the flavor and look of the cake. I will refer all of my friends here, such a great find!

Great experience every time. Have gotten two cakes here already and both came out better than expected especially on short notice. Would definitely recommend to others. Prices are reasonable and I always get compliments on the taste as well.

My first time.. I order a cake from here... I did a mermaid theme.... I arrive at 10:20am.. on Sunday... Cake didn't have the pearls nor happy birthday ___ . I waited for Richard to come. He  put the pearls and wrote happy birthday ____..And then I took it home.. not even 10mins.. the clam snap in half... I tried to fix it but it just didn't stay... So I gave up... The cake filling is good.. I had strawberry filling.. it's good... So I decided to try them again, just cause the clam broke.. I wasn't gonna stop for that... 2nd time... I arrive for the green power ranger cake (Sunday)..I'll be honest I was excited to see it so I got there at 10 sharp..he pulls out the cake.. literally.. I think it's a joke... Paid 85.00 for a plain cake? I was not happy... On his note he has no logo... So what was the reason for me sending a picture of the cake design I wanted?. He literally got on the computer and printed the logo.. and I'm not pleased.he could done an outline or added more piping, but he didn't.. I'll stick to my original bakery. I pay less. And the designs are amazing.  I'm not a fondant person. But my original bakery are so good w their butter cream. They make it look good. . I won't be coming to village bakery again. Due to wasting my time when we sit down and discuss it... Agreed on it... And then coming to an opposite design you wanted.
