The prices alone for the animals are outrageous 1000 dollars for a mixed dog. On top of that the service was horrendous and the icing on top of the cake was they sold us a sick puppy and with a gaurentee that she had a clean bill of health. It gets better yet too after confronting the owner about this issue they refused to reimburse the vet bills associated with my dog having parasites. I unfortunately was one of the many that got suckered into buying one of their animals and let me tell you I will never buy from them again.  Although on the bright side I have a great loving companion for many years to come.

I have been going to this store for 12 years now and love it! I have bought many types of animals there and couldn’t be happier!

My dogs love to come back and visit the workers❤️

Went in yesterday to look at a kitten, older lady working did not greet us at all or even acknowledge I was there. I stood at the kitten cage for 15 minutes waiting for her to come over to greet us or ask if I needed anything, she never did. She stood at the counter talking to a friend. Eventually I went over to ask how much the kittens were, and she talked to me with an attitude like she didn't think I was serious about buying or could afford it. Then told me both kittens couldn't be adopted yet because they had sore eyes and needed medical treatment longer. But both kittens were out where they could be petted, and customers could potentially spread it to other pets. I won't be going back due to lack of service, and rude service. After visiting the store I left and went to Jocelyns Puppies and pet supplies on Carlisle st by the Hanover square to adopt a kitten where the staff was extremely helpful and nice.

It's a great small shop, the people who have reviewed it poorly due to things like a rat sneezing or the minor smell or not being greeted are being ridiculous. 1) Rats sneeze when taken to a new place with new smells because they have very sensitive nostrils, also all rats have an underlying upper respiratory infection due to how pet rats were originally bred in the first place 200 years ago, so you signed up for that. Do your homework! 2) It's a pet shop, what do you expect? Roses and cinnamon? Do you expect them to clean up everything right on the dot all the time? They have stuff to do and may not notice it right away, calm down. Fact is pets are smelly and that's the way it is. 3) There is usually only 1 or 2 people working there at a time (places can't always hire new people due to budgets! Imagine that!) those people are usually busy with other customers or taking care of animals, sorry you're not always going to be the top priority when you have living creatures to deal with.
Think people! the staff is nice and the get most of their animals from local breeders instead or farms and mills like petco and petsmart. So tell me how is this a bad place?
