As someone who has to commute everywhere walking or by bus, I appreciate the vast array of shops, restaurants, and entertainment available in one wide swath, but equally important is the infrastructure for people traveling on foot - or wheelchairs. The bus stops are not always in well-lit or sheltered locations, and sidewalks are sparse. I'm also not sure if there's any real security, so I don't go to the movies alone after dark because I'm concerned about safety, waiting in the dark on a patch of grass for a bus to show up. Altogether great if you have a car, but difficult for public transit users. Repositioning some of the bus stops to be in more public locations would be a great idea.

Decent selection of stores in your typical American strip mall. Unique to The Waterfront, they have a very nice "town square" style roundabout with events and some green space. During the holidays, this space is decorated nicely for the season. One star removed for the sometimes-poor traffic management. The complex abuts a major railroad, and when a train rolls through, one of the three entrances/exits are completely blocked while the train passes, which can sometimes take 15 minutes or more. Otherwise, it's a great place to visit, and easy to get in and out.

The Waterfront has all the shopping and dining options one could ask for. If you intend to visit here plan on spending some time as it does tend to get quite busy. They have all different dining options from less expensive hamburger joints up to 3 and 4 star eateries and bar establishments.

The Waterfront is a strip mall some very unique stores and restaurants! We absolutely LOVE Dave N Buster's and The Lowe's Theatre! I've heard the Bar Louie is excellent. I personally wasn't a huge fan of Burgatory, but they have amazing milkshakes and are a big hit for my friends. My favorite shop is called Rocket Fizz where they sell strange sodas and candy! They sell everything from Maple Bacon soda to Grass Soda and Buttered Corn! Great place to spend an evening!

There are many stores and Outlets here for every taste, gender, and income bracket. you can choose a wide variety from home improvements to grocery shopping, jewelry shopping, entertainment, movies, clothing, and anything else that you can imagine. The restaurants are varied from fast food to the most exotic that you can imagine. You can pretty much get anything that you need in this strip.
